Commemorating 1000 subscribers

Thanks to Substack’s new Twitter-clone, I recently hit 1000 subscribers sooner than expected.

Honestly part of me disbelieves that any of this is real at all. But considering the continued growth in readership and what I’ve been told are some pretty high open rates, I’m starting to entertain the idea that some of you might actually exist.

And maybe some small subset of that not-imaginary group of human readers is actually invested in this blog enough to want to commemorate the milestone with me in some way.

Is that true?
